“Faith, where are you going?” Daniella asked. “To find something to defend myself from the end,” she answered, looking for the weapons room. “It’s this way. Here, I’ll show you.” “Thank you. I heard about Cole. I am sorry,” Faith apologized, grabbing a sword. “Thank you Faith,” Dani whispered, wiping a stray tear and reaching for her bo-staff. “What are you doing? Your leg– “ Faith started. “You are not the only one who wants to fight the Darkness.” Dani answered, grabbing her bo-staff. “This boot should protect my leg during the fight while allowing me to walk a little better.” Faith nodded, tightening her grip on the hilt of the sword. They shared a glance and hobbled outside the monastery. Kai was the first one to see the pair, gasping at the sight of them. “Faith! Dani!” Jay yelled. “You two should be resting. Faith, you’re not fully healed yet and Dani, you can’t fight on a broken leg,” Kai cautioned. “If the end is coming, I will face it on my feet,” Faith insisted

I know that March of the Oni happened a long time ago, but I wanted to share this on Deviantart too. Daniella watched the Destiny’s Bounty land in front of her. She knew they had been fighting the black smoke and rescuing all they could. The ninja helped the civilians off the boat one by one. Daniella hadn’t seen Cole yet, which peeked her curiosity. Cole loved helping civilians. Where was he? Worst case scenarios raced through her mind as she hobbled faster to the Bounty on her crutches. Zane met Daniella on the ground but didn’t say a word when Daniella finally made it to the Bounty. He just looked at the ground, not knowing what to say. “I need help getting aboard the Bounty.” “Daniella, there’s something you need to know-” “Now, Zane.” Zane sighed, grabbing Daniella and used Airjitzu to land on the deck. All the ninja looked defeated, like something had been taken. Nya couldn’t look Daniella in the eye and her brother Lloyd was trying to find the right words to

Valentine's Day
Cole walked into the living room, hiding his gift behind his back. He let out a sigh when he found the room empty. He had wanted to celebrate Valentine’s Day with Daniella. It was her first Valentine’s Day in the temple and Cole wanted to make it special. Especially since he was ready to tell her. He left the living room, and quickly made his way to her room. He stood outside her closed door, hand raised to knock. He could feel the butterflies trying to escape his stomach. He didn’t really know what he was going to say; he didn’t even know for sure what she would say or how she would even react. He didn’t want to make it awkward. “Cole, I can hear your brain overthinking. You can come in,” Daniella spoke from behind the door. Cole could feel the heat rush to his cheeks. “How did you know it was me? Did you hear what I was thinking about?” Cole asked, opening the door while hiding the gift behind his back. “Mr. Brookstone, you are the only one who overthinks when you’re

(This sort of The Lego Ninjago Movie and the TV show put together) “Hey Cole, help a guy out. How did you ask Daniella out?”Jay asked, setting his lunch tray down on the table “A knock-knock joke,” Cole answered. “No, seriously,” Jay pressed. “Do I look like I’m joking?” Cole asked, glaring. “What are you two arguing about now?” Dani asked, sitting next to Cole. “Jay asked how I asked you out and I answered. He just doesn’t believe me.” “Cole called me one night, said the lamest knock-knock joke in the world and -” “Hey! You said yes, so it couldn’t have been that lame!” “So this actually happened?” Jay asked, shocked. “Yes it did. Cole, would you please take off your headphones? It’s rude,” Daniella answered. “I mean it worked didn’t it? It wasn’t as lame as you’re making it out to be,” Cole answered, taking off his headphones and placing them around his neck. “Well, you aren’t going to leave me hanging are you?” Jay leaned in, interested. “Huh?” Daniella asked

“Please come with me,” the secretary said, motioning towards the door. Daniella Borg grabbed her backpack and obediently walked through the door. She nervously fiddled with the gears on her necklace as she followed the secretary down the empty hallway. She had finally convinced her father to allow her to go to a public high school. The secretary stopped at one of the classroom doors. “This is your first period. I trust that you can find the rest of your classes?” she asked. “Yes ma’am. Thank you,” Daniella answered politely. The secretary smiled and walked back to the office. She could faintly hear her new classmates chattering on the other side. Daniella placed her hand on the handle, taking one last deep breath, and opened the door. Her classmates didn’t stop chatterng when Daniella walked into the room like she thought they would. She closed the door behind her and walked to the teacher’s desk. She handed her schedule to Mrs. Smith. Mrs. Smith looked it over and handed it back
